WRONG!! We're headed to the City by the Bay for an Afternoon with Warren.
See yesterday's post for details. Marlyn Ano says the room will be packed -- but there's always room for two more -- you and your guest! We are meeting a friend flying in from NY tonight, so we'll be there mid-afternoon today. Text or call Mike if you are going to be around and can get together.

New rep Karen -- when asked how she came to know about TBT -- said that Dr. Mike gave her some Core to try. He said she signed up on his website as a rep before he could get back to ask her how she liked it. This is a decisive lady! And happy with the Terra-bio Tech products. Plus, she has already signed up a rep in Idaho and one in Colorado. Fast AND decisive -- two qualities that mean Quick Promotion for Karen and a great team member for Dr. Mike (and all of us).

A little health info for today from the health department of Google:
Curcuma longa L. (Zingiberaceae family) rhizomes, has been widely used for centuries in indigenous medicine for the treatment of a variety of inflammatory conditions and other diseases . Extracted from the roots of the curcuma longa plant, curcumin is a member of the ginger family, and is the active ingredient of turmeric that gives it a rich yellow color. The industry uses it as the yellow color # 3. India, where this spice is wildly consumed, has the lowest death incident caused by cancer around the world. Its is one of the 7 spices that makes the curry.
A spice that more than meets the eye
These medicinal properties have been attributed mainly to curcuminoids, in particular to curcumin. Curcumin has been shown to possess a wide range of pharmacological qualities, including anti-inflammatory, anticancer, anti-oxidant, wound healing properties and anti-depressant like effects.Recent cancer reasearches
The anticancer potential of curcumin stems from its ability to suppress proliferation of a wide variety of malignant cell types, as well as tumor initiation, promotion, and metastasis, presumably due to its myriad biological properties mostly proliferation, anti-inflammation and anti-angiogenesis. The department of Surgery, Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, published an article where curcumin increased the effect of chemotherapy regime in suppressing proliferation and inducing apoptosis growth of prostate cancer cell. At University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, the researcher had a clinical trial II on curcumin and found interesting results where a patient was classed stable disease for 18 months for pancreatic cancer.Types of Cancers affected
-Breast cancer-Colon cancer
-Gastric cancer
-Prostate cancer
-Leukemia
-Lung cancer
-bladder cancer
- pancreatic cancer
Daily diet consumption
(Note: this infor is pre-Terra-bioTech; Warren's delish blends of over 18 superfood ingredients enhance the curcumin-effect. Without extra pepper.)3 tsp a day . A key question related to curcumin is its poor bioavailability after being taken orally. However, the addition of black pepper helps the absorption in your intestine like 2000 times more. Since turcumin is a spice, you can add it anywhere in your food. You don’t need to spoon it like a medicine. Myself, I like to take it in my morning fruit smoothie, in cooking my meat or my mushrooms in olive oil along with other spices and black pepper.
