Lottery me not. Nectr me Lots!

Greetings, NectrHeadz,

Burning Question in lots of peoples' minds:  What can Nectr do for me?  I am not ill; I don't have any diseases (known);  I'm in good health -- getting long in the tooth, but otherwise, nothing to complain about. So why should I bother?

For today's post, I'll just speak personally, because all of the above is true of me.  Why would I bother with Rize, Core and Calm.

Three things:

  1. I believe and KNOW that "you are what you eat" is not just something my  Mom made up:  it is absolutely true.  Youth and being very active can offset bad eating, but once you're 35, bad eating leads to bad health.
  2. Changing health at the cellular level doesn't happen overnight;  this restoration happens over time.
  3. I've been a faithful NectrHead for about 6 months now, and the change in me is startling.

Had an early chat with Dr. Mike Lassley this morning. He said, "Have you had your Rize yet?"

I said, "Yes, and funny you should mention it!  I was just thinking what a difference in my life after-Nectr!"

I talked with him around 8:15 -- I had already  made Mike biscuits, bacon and eggs for breakfast (well, on Wednesdays I make  whatever he wants!), done my 'killer-50's' workout, done a repair to my vacuum cleaner and vacuumed the kitchen and hall.  Without blinking, or even thinking about it.

Six months ago there is no way I could do 50 reps each exercise of my workout --- 20 reps and I was gasping and panting.  And a vacuum repair would have taken me 3 weeks to think about it before finally getting around to it.  Six months ago at 8:15 a.m. I would have been sitting with the paper, sipping coffee and staring at the window thinking, "Well, I'd better get up and get moving."

Plus, late yesterday I walked over 4 miles -- just cuz!  And plan to do the same today.

We get great testimonials from new Nectr-users who have illnesses or problems and experience relief from Core or Rize or Calm  right away, and we're grateful for each of them.

But if you are one who doesn't have  dramatic effects  right away, like me, don't worry:  your body is being restored to optimal health with every sip of Nectr you drink!  One day you'll be looking around your kitchen early in the day, viewing everything you've already accomplished that morning, and realize:  What a difference Nectr makes in my life!

The above is from the "Feel Better" side of things.

To prove that Nectr has also made me Think Better, guess what!!  I am doing just great with my iPad -- have not had a lesson yet but have figured out  everything I need to know all by myself!    It is a blast -- today my goal is to master the new power point program for iPad that I've been reading about and was the main catalyst for finally buying one.  Can't wait to try it out.

Thank you for all the concerns for our daughter and family in Cairo:  had email from her this morning.  She said they didn't even know anything had happened until the emails from the US began to come in.  They love Cairo and the people and their school and students.  She said Egypt is a fascinating place.  She had just left a pharmacy and as she was leaving, the lady who helped them had her cell phone ring.  Merrian hummed the tune all the way home before she realized what it was: Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee, God of Glory, Lord of Love.

Your continuing prayers are appreciated for them, of course, and for the country of Egypt as it makes its way into a working democracy.

Still think the lottery will solve all your problems?  Better to build a revenue stream that doesn't end, as this article shows:

Callie Rogers blew a 2003 U.K. lottery jackpot of $3 million on shopping, cocaine, friends and breast augmentation and told reporters two years ago she was working as a maid. William "Bud" Post squandered his 1988 Pennsylvania prize of more than $16 million on houses, vehicles and bad businesses before going bankrupt and serving time for firing a shotgun at a bill collector before his death in 2006.
Are these outcomes rare? A recent study of Florida lottery winners suggests no.
Economists at the University of Kentucky, University of Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt University wanted to answer a public policy question: What happens when individuals in financial trouble are given large lump sums? So they collected data from nearly 35,000 winners of up to $150,000 in Florida's Fantasy 5 lottery from 1993 to 2002, and cross-referenced this information with state bankruptcy records.

Their findings, published last fall in The Review of Economics and Statistics, show that a big lottery score does little to reduce the likelihood of bankruptcy.

More than 1,900 winners went bankrupt within five years.

"The results show that giving $50,000 to $150,000 to people only postpones bankruptcy," the authors concluded.
Perhaps most shocking, the typical big winner in the sample was awarded a prize of $65,000, while the most financially distressed ones had unsecured debt of $49,000. In other words, the cash was more than enough to pay off everything most winners owed.

The researchers offer a few theories on why so many winners went bust. Prior research has shown that lottery players have below-average incomes and education; it's no great leap to assume they tend to have limited financial literacy (even compared with a general population that has been shown to sorely lack it). Winners might also engage in something behavioral economists call mental accounting by treating their winnings less cautiously than they would their earnings. Of course, winners might simply "develop a taste for luxury goods that outlasts their money," the researchers write.
