FROM THE RAINFOREST:
Alvin Weiss sends this along (for parents and grandparents):
Here's a little "free radical" dressed in Spider Man pajamas.
If Spider Man does NOT sleep, no one sleeps - not even the family's English Bulldog. Thank goodness for Nectr Calm. Grandpa has been able to work uninterrupted for two hours tonight. And in the morning, Spider Man awakens happy and alert. Read the recipe, parents and grandparents ! It works !

FROM THE TALENTED TO ALL NECTRHEADZ:
Hey now,You asked if we are having fun yet, well here is one of several inspired projects we have been having our fun with along with sharing the increasingly good news about the company. This is just a demo draft (attached) we`re hoping to have our daughters do the vocals on when we can corral them. But we are super excited and will be making every effort to make the Sept. Nugent visit another special event. Look forward to talking with and seeing you soon. All Good Things & Much Love

Sean Krohn called and is adding Santa Cruz to schedule for next week, so as of now it looks like this:
Monday - South San FranciscoTuesday - MontereyWednesday - Santa Cruz
Heard from soon-to-be Regional Marlyn Ano (her goal is the end of this month) and she said they had a barn-burner of a meeting this past Monday night: lots of distributors and guests and the sign-up fall-out from that event is still going on! (I guess the better word would be 'fall-in'! Great job by the leaders up there -- Marlyn, Cora, Arsenio, Cesar and Gladys, and the emerging leadership team. )

EDITORIAL:
Had a very sad conversation with a long-time friend yesterday afternoon. Her family had just had an intervention for a 20 year old granddaughter who is living life on the streets as a drug addict. Twenty years old.
This young woman was raised by her Mom and Dad, has one sibling, happy, middle-class life, good in school and enjoyed church and youth group. Graduated at 18, decided on attending a local IT college. Now, at 20, she has been hospitalized for overdose at least once, is living in danger every hour. She rejected the intervention and returned to the streets. As you can imagine, the family is distraught. They followed the instructions of the interventionist-expert to the letter, including severing all ties with her when she refused treatment.
I bring this up because this young woman is indicative of a disease that is striking at our youth in this Valley. I don't know about other places, but thousands of young men and women around here are drifting aimlessly, without purpose and without hope. They see no reason for attending college, they can't find jobs, they look at their parents' situations and see nothing to look forward to.
Easy prey to drug pushers, gangs and crime.
Mike and I pray daily for this generation. It occurred to me today to start a 'mentoring' program and pay them, one at a time, to hang out with us for 30 days and learn what we do, why we do it, and how to do it themselves. The days of getting a job that will take care of you for life are over.
But the days of earning a professional income through the freedom and fun of network marketing are here to stay.
The problem is, how to teach it to the people who need it most?
Anybody have any ideas? Or ideas for implementing the mentor-thing? I was thinking of having it be generic rather than TBT-specific. They need to learn the industry skill and mind-set first. Then they can find the company that suits them. There are many great companies out there, just check the DSA website, or many other website which list the top worldwide direct-selling companies.
Couple of quotes here:
Centuries-old Nigerian Igbo proverb "Ora na azu nwa" whch means it takes a village to raise a child. The Igbo's also name their children "Nwa ora" which means child of the community.
and
(story of my life): You don't know God is all you need until God is all you have.
