Greetings from the Rainforest!

I think the heat here has fried my connection because it is beyond S L O W this morning. (A lot like me -- 112 deg. and I do not mix well.)

Anyhoo, great call last night. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE NEW SENIOR EXECUTIVES, MANY OF WHOM PROMOTED THEMSELVES WITHIN one week --- a few one DAY -- from their start date!

These people will be Terra bio Tech Leaders of Reknown! And last night a dozen more began their Nectr adventure...

I will try to get list from Brad for posting. (Don't want to leave anyone out so will not do this off the top of my head!)

I found a great article from an early blog post and since so many of you are brand-new NectrHeadz thought it good to re-post... F.Y.I.

FROM THE 'TECHNICAL INFO I DON'T UNDERSTAND BUT THINK IT APPLIES' FILE:

One hundred years ago, one in three hundred Americans suffered from cancer. Today cancer strikes one in three people. With 1, 500 people dying each day and more than half a million people dying each year from cancer, the American Medical Association‘s response to this trend is to recommend eating five servings of fruits and vegetables daily. Yet it fails to alert the public about the real culprit- the lack of nutrition and the danger of chemicals in today's fruits and veggies. Conventional approaches to the management of cancer makes it a nightmare we may never wake from. According to Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling - Our ability to manufacture vitamins and essential nutrients has been discarded. Our ancestors lived in close proximity to fruits and vegetables. Our original diet in the hunter-gatherer era consisted of plants, nuts, seeds and berries, wild meats and fish, all organic.

This is what happens when we alter our nutrition.
Studies show a relationship between high simple carbohydrate consumption and many of today’s metabolic, physical, glandular, digestive and degenerative diseases. As our nutrition and metabolism shifts from ‘fat and toxin burning to fat and toxin storing’ metabolic diseases began. Processed foods are devoid of antioxidants, enzymes and are converted into ‘killing - fats’ which serves as storage for the storage of toxins in our cells where they cause physical degeneration

Cancer fighting properties of plant vegetables and fruits
Studies in cancer nutrition have shown there are certain botanicals and foods contain specific compounds that activate the watch-dog genes that turn off the cell mechanisms that make rogue cells. In addition, most cells have an address, specified by adhesion proteins, that glues cells into their proper position. For a cell to spread its abnormal form and function, it must have DNA instructions that allow it to break the bonds of that glue and to make new adhesion proteins before entering other tissues. Scientists have identified compounds in herbs that protect the watch-dog genes from damage.

The 1998 surgeon general’s report on nutrition and health concludes that 15 out of every 21 deaths in the United States involve nutrition.

Laboratory and animal studies have shown that antioxidants in plants can protect cells against radiation and chemotherapy and may therefore reduce the adverse effects of radiation treatment and chemotherapy. Many vegetables and fruits are high in protective substances, such as fiber, antioxidant vitamins and minerals, and other potentially anticarcinogenic compounds including dithiolthiones,...

Will wrap this up since my patience with 'net is lost.... have to go get some welcome packages in the mail to new QEs (testimonial letters, press release about Croatia, Pete Lammons, welcome letter, etc.) and run errands, drop off some samples, etc.

LOVETHISCOMPANY!   Mike is on the phone right now with Rusty (Monterey), new rep who is pondering a bulk order.  If you want expiration date on your bottles, that is found ON THE BOTTOM of the bottle.  The one on our Rize says Best by 7-2014.  The bottles should have a one-year expiration date from when you receive it for max freshness.

NectrHugs,
Barb
