Happy 4th of July to everyone from the Satellite Coast just south of Cape Canaveral.  It's hotter than that rocket here today, but we have air conditioning, corn in the husks, Blue Bell ice cream, Georgia peaches and Vidalia onions, so all is well!

Awesome time yesterday trolling the shallow waters of the Florida Intracoastal -- stopping and swimming all over the place.  No injuries to speak of; close encounters with dolphin and manatees; and burns in a couple of spots where the sunscreen was a mite thin.  So, VICTORY!

Very nice people down here.  Daughter has remarked several times, "The people here are so much nicer than down by Miami."  We concur.
