Good morning from the satellite coast... near Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, Dunkin Donuts and other crucial American landmarks --

What a blessing to be with family to celebrate the Nation's birthday party. There were already fireworks on the beach last night -- although the police did show up so I'm guessing it was a bit early for all that stuff. But, could have been something else!

We had Calm last night and slept well. Mer and I split one and we were both out like lights. This a.m. split our Rizes (we're trying to make our bottles last and spread to the most people...) The BEST thing about them, for me, is I don't eat nearly as much because I'm satisfied. Unless, of course, I'm close to fried catfish, which is a whole other universe of satisfaction.
