Good morning from the GA/FL Turnpike, somewhere in the vicinity of Cracker Barrel and Waffle House.... at 80 mph!
Had a blast with Wayne, Angelia and their just beginning team in South GA. Got a dynamite few videos and have been trying to upload them for your edification (and excitement), but it is a trick. Decided to post quickly and hope the video gets uploaded.
The first one is of Wayne Harrington. I missed the first part of his remarks to the guests, so let me give you a quick summary. Wayne and Angelia have been friends for a long time. He got Mike started riding Harleys so they bonded over bikes. They moved back to home state of GA a few years ago. Wayne had an accident on his Classic a few months ago and broke his back. The first part of his statements was about the pain, what he went through, and where he was when he decided to try the CORE samples that Mike had given him. (That post -- about him taking it on the hour and timing it to see what happened and in 22 minutes "I began to feel better." Check blog archives for that full post.)
Anyway, by the time I got my video up and running, Wayne was to this point in his story:
We are on our way to Orlando to try to find our luggage.
We got up this morning and packed our 3 WalMart bags and 1 TJMaxx and hit the road! It's a gorgeous day down here. Just a mild 112 deg. in Dublin yesterday -- supposed to be 108 today. (But it's a dry heat.)
We were amazed at the response from the guests there last night. Wayne had run an ad in the local paper and he got a lot of phone calls. We were afraid that not many would brave the heat, though. However, the people who came were young, capable, and awesome. They loved the concept, they all understood marketing, and they all have loved ones who need Nectr in varying degrees. One young man's mom has been in the hospital 3 times this month. Everyone got samples, brochures, website addresses, and follow-up promises and invitation to next event in two weeks.
I have two more great videos to upload. Will do that later. Battery is getting low.
Later, armadillos!
Barb
